Learning Outcomes and Application | This unit applies to the modification, customisation and setting of machines for product change working largely independently and being accountable for own results including carrying out assigned tasks, coordinating processes, and setting and working to deadlines. Work may be conducted in a variety of environments, such as operational workplace activities, restricted space and hazardous, controlled or exposed conditions.Products and materials include those typically used within each sector of the Textile, Clothing, Footwear and Allied industry sectors including: various textile production sectors:early stage wool processinghide, skin and leather productioncanvas fabricationleather goods productionclothing productionmillineryfootwear productionlaundriesdry cleaningWork may be conducted in small to large scale enterprises and may involve individual and team activities.
